Accreditation…..for Community Behavioral Health Providers, it is another tool they should have in their toolbox if that Agency wants to remain in the managed care arena long term.
Most commercial payers require some kind of accreditation if a behavioral health organization wants to offer higher levels of care (Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Ambulatory Detoxification, Residential Treatment) in their networks. Accreditation sets agencies apart from their colleagues in that they have consciously decided to raise their clinical quality bar and want to sustain their mission in treating their clients for the long haul.
This same requirement could visit agencies operating in the Medicaid space in the future. Will your organization be positioned to meet this potential requirement down the road?
Pinnacle Partners’ mission is to ensure behavioral health agencies not only survive but thrive in this new managed care environment. To that end, Pinnacle Partners has developed a small network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that will assist agencies in positioning themselves for the long haul. Our SME’s areas of extensive expertise include billing, coding and clinical documentation requirements, grant writing, and fundraising.
In addition, Pinnacle Partners has an SME that assists agencies in preparing for CARF accreditation. I want to introduce you to North Coast Strategy Partners
